The atmosphere, pixel art, and music are all great. However I wish there was a few more music tracks since there are a couple areas you spend a lot in and the music gets fairly repetitive.
The weapon selection is amazingly varied and everything is fun to use, though once I found the flamethrower in the last hour of the game I didn't want to use anything else.
The story is pretty straightforward but there's a lot of neat worldbuilding in the notes if you can manage to find enough to see the bigger picture.
All in all, 9/10 game. It's as fun today as when I first played it in 2015.
