This was a weird game to rate, but I feel like the best way to explain it is: This is not a Sonic game.

I mean, it is. It definitely is a Sonic game, I get it, but this feels way more of a Mario game than a Sonic game. And I think that's okay. If you play this game with the mentality that you're playing a Mario game, then you'll probably enjoy it. It just deviates significantly from what a regular Sonic game is. It's slower, it's goofy, it's easy, it's too colorful... The music is even a bit weak when compared to other games. It's still not bad, but nowhere near the level of other games.

That being said, the game itself is not bad. This is just a poor Sonic game, but an ok-good game overall.

This game is amazing. 8.9/10. Better than games you'd pay 80$ for.
