Its hard for me to write this as a negative review, as i adore this game, and have countless hours spent on it as a kid.
As i heard the announcement for the remaster i was really exicted, to revisit one of my favourite childhood games again with a modern touch.

I have to say i expected more than just improved visuals, when the original is still free.
The bare minimum for me would be:
- more FPS than the current locked 30 fps cap
- functioning multiplayer/coop
- steam workshop / mod support
- controller support

Multiplayer was added using the steam api, but it does not function well:
- You have to manually select frame latency
- Depending on distance between the host, the game runs on slow motion or there is a significant delay
between inputs, making in unplayable.
- Can't go back to main menu from online lobby, you have to relaunch the game

I really love this game. but sadly i cannot recommend the game in its current state.

Fix multiplayer!!!
В игре не рабочий мультиплеер по сети, у всех клиентов фризит и лагает, работает адекватно только у хоста или по локалке/хот сите. И автор вообще не шевелится это фиксить. Поменяю отзыв когда пофиксит мультиплеер. Деньги возвращать не буду, в знак благодарности за кучу наиграных часов в детстве. А что до игры, то это легендарный бит зем ап, один из лучших в своем жанре. Игра легенда в узких кругах, на базе нее была сделана не менее легендарная Naruto: The Setting Dawn. Кто знает, тот знает.
