Frankly, even if you're not a huge Hololive fan, this game has earned a GOTY contender from me.

Gameplay is really solid. A bit chaotic at times but feels designed around it. Clever use of simple "Speed up"/"Slow Down" time mechanics, and combat is solid, giving you reasons to consistently alternate between both.
Levels are also amazing; each level bringing bright new layouts and ideas. Every time I thought this game couldn't come up with something new to amaze me with, I was proven wrong over and over. And the best part is how they never intrude the core mechanics; rather they compliment them VERY well. Simple early example; Game gives a temporary "Kroniwheel" powerup, which is just kronii riding a wheel of Kronis (the clock people). You can slow time down to make it easier to platform with this, or you can ride it out to get max speed to make a bigger jump. But things DO get crazier from there. And it does so well to ease you into it; Giving you a few simple examples before pulling the actual challenges with it without ever once needing an explicit tutorial. I felt proud for figuring out how to best use these and never once felt confused despite how crazy they can get.

Story is phenomenal. I was coming in expecting a cheesy "Haha it's all the hololive girls" story, but it actually is well written and even without the base of what it is, the story would have worked amazing. It tells it's story very well, and it would work without the hololive crew, sign of a well written story.

Music is top notch. Yes, many of them are remixes of their respective talent's songs, but they're such amazing remixes. All are suiting, there's so much variety, and yes I cried when Astrogirl kicked in.


If I have any complaints, it's that the combat feels a bit TOO chaotic at points. Often felt the best strat was to bumrush enemies to kill them before they could attack, and this included bosses. Hype as hell, don't get me wrong, but did make having access to such an interesting moveset a bit underwhelming for it.


Overall, solid recommendation from me for anybody who likes action platformers!

amazing game

Absolutely wonderful game all around. The time powers are very well integrated and utilized, and the game teaches you about stage elements seamlessly. The haste and stasis music notes also help to direct the player very well.
