This class doesn’t dominate with raw damage but with control, by weakening enemies, soothing allies, and throwing curses that can tilt entire encounters in your favor.

Affront

Forget polite disagreements, this is a straight-up smack-down to an enemy’s confidence. Use it to strip away their power, dodge and movement speed, turning a dangerous foe into an easy target. Perfect for softening up elites or keeping a heavy hitter from reaching your lines.

Soothing Words

For a class that throws so much shade, the Preacher also knows how to lift spirits. Mark an ally with a Sacred Echo, and with just the right timing, you’ll restore their health when they need it most. It’s subtle-ish (at 8 hp), but in a long fight, that healing can mean the difference between victory and a crew-sized funeral.

Caravan Skill: Curse

Placed in the backline, the Preacher brings out the big guns (metaphorically speaking). Curse is a map-wide debuff that saps enemy strength and mobility, letting your frontline dismantle them while they struggle to keep up. It’s like putting the entire enemy squad in quicksand.

🛠️ Designer’s Note – Tasos:
The Preacher is the only class with an innate healing ability, and pairing that with their nasty debuffs makes them an absolute gem for longer runs. Personally, I love having one in the party because they do double duty—protecting your team while dismantling the enemy’s momentum.

Bring a Preacher along if you want your enemies humbled and your allies kept alive long enough to celebrate their victory.
