Under the Controls setting there is a Rocket (Fire / Sel.) button. I'm assuming this means Fire or Select a missile. Any idea how to utilize this feature? I've tried pressing the Fire Button Quickly, as well as just Holding it; but both simply cause the missile to fire. I am aware that I can select the missile with the 'M' Key on my keyboard, but would prefer to select it with a JoyStick/Throttle Button. Advanced Thanx... and hoping someone is even still around - LoL :)...

There is simply no way for this game to run on modern computers other than a fluke and no one at Egosoft can help or diagnose 90% of the glitches. Only a retro PC can play it if your lucky enough to have an old PoC and not a guarantee. This game needs a fast remake in the X3 engine just make new models and use same story, maps, and voice acting as it is too bad 99% of players can no longer play the first part anymore. Whatever X game engine you use I think X3 is the best bet as it should have the shortes...

I have bought myself 2 beta IRE guns (those were the best i could find) and have 2 1MW shields, i have payed back my loan but everytime i try to leave the sector via the Teladi Gain sector or via Profit share and then into Ceos Buckzoid, i get killed by the xenons every single time.
