solid follow up the first game. strongly recommend playing the first game and using your imported data, it makes the story feel more impactful and personal. game is once again split into two parties but they feel more distinct for a variety of reasons and really add to the experience here.

couple of improvement in terms of combat : max levels are raised, and with it they added talents, which have interesting interactions and add more depth to your choices. second caravan features brand new classes your first caravan will not have, further adding on top of a pretty decent set of offerings.

controller support, much like the first game, is still not fantastic.

if you played the first game odds are you probably already considered this and yeah, more banner saga, still good, still bleak, still great to play.
