Anyone has some tip to get the 50x multiplier? Also, how does the multiplier work, I know that absrobing bullets and using the shield on enemy increase it, but don't know how the shooting affects it since it times I get the ultiplier while shooting, while other times it decreases it...

I'm a little confused as to what the goal is in the "Collect Data" stage is. I notice the small tooltips telling me when I'm doing something worth points, but I end up getting a D rank every time I finish, anyway. What am I doing wrong?
