Yes. It's only for $5 dollars if you already own the original.

Yep, the Definitive Edition should only cost €5,- if you've bought the original edition before :)

If that's not the case, maybe wait a bit (half an hour) until all Steam changes have gone through fully.

Can you use your old save with the Definitive Edition?

Also the 5€ thing looks like it ends tomorrow, or will the upgrade be be available later on as well?

Why do you want to play the vanilla game? It is exactly the same ^^ only some abilities and two new map parts are new.
