And you have to realize that Autosport is more realistic than Grid 2, it's a simcade somewhere in the middle of an arcade and sim.
Here you can compare both games tracks and cars:
Autosport tracks: https://racedriver.fandom.com/wiki/GRID_Autosport/Courses
Grid 2 tracks: https://racedriver.fandom.com/wiki/GRID_2/Courses
Autosport cars / car classes: https://racedriver.fandom.com/wiki/GRID_Autosport/Vehicles
Grid 2 cars / car classes: https://racedriver.fandom.com/wiki/GRID_2/Vehicles
Autosport has more tracks (some are new, some are missing) and cars / car classes than Grid 2.
And if you are interested in the multiplayer, we have a group chat to play from time to time.
By the way, I'm seeing a number of reviews and threads about the flashback feature being bugged and inconsistent. Do you know anything about that?
I never had any problems with flashbacks.
Also in case you don't know, you can't create your own team and buy your own cars like in all previous Grid games, you join other teams and drive for them.
Can confirm regarding the flashback feature. It randomly stops working mid-game and then starts working at other points
