You need to find the tutorial online because the in-game video link doesn't work anymore. Only play this if you played the OG version and you can't meet your friends in IRL.

For those who haven't played the board game this is a fun relatively easy to learn game with a lot of variation. You can meet funny combination like flying dwarves, heroic ghouls, or beserker halfings. Then you take that group of people and try to expand into this area and gain as much money (i.e. points) within a certain number of rounds. You'll be playing multiple civilization in a single run but the whole game will last a set number of rounds depending on the number of players. I find it more fun with more players (4-5) range.

If you like the board game this is a good addition to play on your own or online. Doesn't have all the expansions like Underworld, Skyworld, Riverworld, etc but has all the stand alone races and abilities of the original game. I have had it crash on me a couple of times but seems to save it alright so not much is lost.

Mediocre implementation of a ok board game. The game works (mostly) but is a good example of how not to adapt a board game to pc. It's so hard to get information about the game state that is necessary to play the game properly. Add lots of lockups that can take a whole minute to resolve and the end to Linux support and I can't think it's worth it.
