I am working on a new mod. Yes, the game is old, but that doesn't mean it doesn't deserve a new one. I have been able to work out how to make new facilities, new techs, new races and new factions. So this mod has all of those things :) What I could use help with is Blender, so it could be possible to make new ships, ground units and defenses. Anyone willing or able to help?...

I must admit I discovered this gem a bit late. But better late than never! I have been playing it quite a bit lately, and I was wondering if anyone has mods for the game, still saved somewhere. I managed to find three mods, Iceman, BPES mod & EpicExpMod. Anyone have something else? I know this is a longshot. Perhaps someone has the Moo mod or the Hyper Expansion Mod? The games creator thought I should ask here....

The RTS ship combat in this game is not very good, but what it really excels at is the empire building and economic growth aspect. I just completed a game playing as the Silq Combine, who are kind of like the Ferengi from Star Trek: not very good at combat, but experts in trading and earning profit. I finished the game at turn 500 with 54k income per turn and 4.5 million in the treasury. Or is the game tied to the desktop resolution as i see no option in the games built in settings? I'm asking because i'm playing on a CRT monitor at 1024x768, and some of the UI elements are off-screen and i can't see them. I know i can just up the desktop resolution, but i have my monitor colour calibrated to this resolution, and would prefer to play at that if possible, and since it is a UI issue does anyone have advice in regards to scaling? thanks....

its ok if bombardment weapons take some but should be like moo3 if the population dies they outpost or go away or actualy fight ground invasion in a step why out of all the 2020s does moo3 still Take the cake from 20 years ago go look at the invasion screens. theres bad@ss choices...
