This isn't an RTS so much as a puzzle game. There is an intended solution to everything, and you'll be lucky if you can solve it any other way. In addition, taking your time makes things punishingly difficult - and one mistake can basically reset the level. Your hard-capped number of units mean that there's no real base/army building element to this game - you have what you have, which is just barely enough to beat any given level, and your only agency is how you use those units. This might technically be an RTS, but it's not the type of RTS that I care for.

I respect the attempt to take things in a different direction, but this just isn't the same genre as the rest of the series, and, like. I'm sure there are people that like this genre, maybe this game'll work better for them, but I do not like this genre or this game. I've asked for a refund because I don't want to play this game anymore.
