heya, i just bought the game and started it and noticed whatever i press i can´t move. I even restarted it 3 times and still nothing. I´m on HTC Vive please help

So, I can't break the leather off of the item I am wrapping, the travelling trader guy wants a new wrapping for his handle, but I can't break the leather off, I click and it just adds yet another strip of leather to my lovecraftian tentacle monster of leather wrapping that the handle has become. So I got annoyed, and put the item into the quest letter and put it in the mailbox, I think I am now soft-locked......

Whenever I try to wrap wood with leather I hold down the trigger and even see the lightning effect but I can never get more than about an inch of leather on before the leather "breaks." Can't seem to extend pieces already on the wood either. Am I doing something wrong or is it just a bug?...

Just as the title says, hands are in default location on the floor and I'm unable to navigate at the main menu, not an issue with the controllers as they work fine literally everywhere else. Anyone else experience this? Haven't seen any posts about it.
