This is huge and will dictate if this game is going to be successfull or not. The most amazing part of this game is the negotiations for votes and this cant be replicated with bots in game ever.

Alright, i've played through the game once, and frankly, I'm baffled by it. There's really no game in here at all. Nor a functional interactive narrative either. You make a bunch of uninformed choices that in the end add to your ability to build structures, which do nothing except possibly give you more choices in the finale. (the various currencies in the game seem pointless, except to make more structures and engage in the House relationship stuff which was absolutely irrelevant. I bribed a house here ...

I was watching a Youtube video that gave it glowing reviews except for a perplexing rule that I assume is a left over from the board game. Why does maxing prosperity cause the king to abdicate. That feels kind of arbitrary/gamey.

I'm a bit confused about the power (shield) points we can spend to vote against the council. The tutorial said that voting for the majority does not cost anything. But voting against it cost 1 point per diff + 1.
