It's fun in short bursts, mostly if you’ve got friends to play. The core loop is still solid, it's turn based, with fun novel weapons. But once the novelty wears off, matches start to blur together and there’s not much pulling you back in.

Multiplayer is clearly the focus, but it’s hard to rely on that now. Without a consistent group, you’re left with a meh game. Playing solo gets old fast. I had some fun with it, but these days it feels more like a nostalgia pick than something I’d actually recommend unless you have people ready to play.
