You've left on the default setting to force it to use VR, meaning it'll boot up with steam VR and if you close that it crashes the game.

This makes no sense.

This game is really cute but it feels like every mechanic is bugged. The passives are bugged where half of them do not work. Many of the different weapons are bugged and do not work as intended. Character portraits during dialogue with the first boss are white rectangles on the screen. The tera-forming in the hub world is buggy and not well explained outside of place plant, plant good? The store page makes it seem as though you have the ability to interact with these animals. But outside of a bugged intera...
