I was a debating whether or not I wanted to buy this. I do love the idea, but 20$ seemed a little steep in my opinion. I was curious if there's actually enough substance to the game to make it worth the price, or should I just wait for a sale?

Why can't you skip the cut scene after you give the moose the items he's looking for? What's the joke? That he's making weird sexual noises and you're forced to listen to it? Strange design choice.

Is this like the GBA castlevania games with tons of RPG elements, gear, etc... Or is this more like old zelda games, where your powerups consist mostly of heart containers, possibly energy containers, and basically no gear? Finally, how is navigating the world in this game? Does fast travel or teleport points exist in reasonable numbers?...
