This is a great continuation to the first game. Personally, I found that the first game's DLC isn't great. The later parts dip in quality of writing and get boring at times. College Kings 2 is where the series came back on track for me. I like it more and more as it goes on (I haven't finished all the DLC yet).

The stakes escalate, the scenes get prettier and sexier, and the story beats are more interesting. I love the character development of several characters especially, but I won't go into detail to avoid spoilers.

I am grateful to this series for giving me a light-hearted alternative to all the dark and heavy media out there. The fact that it got me invested in the characters and storylines as well as it did makes this a pleasant game to return to whenever I am in need of something lighter.
