Patch Notes 2.19

We've seen a fair amount of fresh new faces in the Discord Server[discord.gg] thanks to the steam winter sale (Hi, by the way!) and this led to a few issues being found, which we are addressing today!

Huge thanks for keeping the community alive and booming, folks!

Fixes

Fixed issue where some Chest Mimic weren't properly flagged as being ''Normal'' Chests.
Fixed issue where Chapter 16's Turn Limit Defeat Condition wasn't triggering properly. We have also added a message, 3 turns earlier, to warn players of the approaching defeat condition.
Fixed issue where Chapter 22-1's Turn Limit was set to 17 instead of the displayed 14. The correct Turn Count is now 14.
Fixed issue where some enemies would not trigger Chapter 22-1's Defeat Condition upon entering the target area.
Fixed issue where Keri and Miles's paired epilogue would sometimes fail to display properly.
Fixed issue where Laetitia's single epilogue would sometimes display after her paired epilogue with Sophie.
Fixed issue where Ollie's name wasn't dynamically set in a Support Conversation in Chapter 21.
Fixed issue where recruiting Diego would not remove the Butterfingers icon on his map sprite.
Fixed issue where Fairy enemies were missing the Fairy tag from their description. Has no effect on gameplay since they had the tag behind the scenes.
Fixed a typo in Chapter 7's Victory Conditions.
Fixed a typo in a Support Conversation in Chapter 24.
Fixed a typo in Kitoko's Shed Skin passive that referred to a Status effect that does not exist anymore.

Improvements

Updated Dex's Description in a Unit's Profile to remove some confusion between Accuracy and Hit.
Updated Samira's Learned Skills and Base Skills to have Graceful Dancer as a base skill instead of instantly learning it at the start of Chapter 6. This has the effect of giving Tomoe a Speed Boost on Turn 1 of Chapter 6. (Woo! Sonic speed!)

No leveling

I'm on the map Crooks and my characters's exp bars fill up, but no levelup occurs. Normal difficulty.

Fixes

Fixed issue where in Chapter 18 and a support Conversation in Chapter 20, the Avatar's name was used in a conversation as Ollie (their default name), regardless of the name you gave them at the start of the game.
Fixed a typo in Chapter 28.

Improvements

Ikan gained stat bonuses on Hopeless mode. This was not intended, but he has had a more positive reception as a result, so we are canonizing some of these changes.
TLDR: Ikan gains +1 HP, +2 Str/Spd/Lck/Def/Res and +4 Mag/Dex on all difficulty settings.

Character Tier List Question

Hi Everyone I was wondering if anyone had any insight regarding a character tier list. Additionally I wanted to see if the game was in the same realm as old school fire emblem games which it seems to be where you aren't able to train all units so selecting capable units is important. If someone could provide some insight regarding either some characters beginning /middle/end game who may stand out, some who are okay and some who are best to avoid and not invest in that would be appreciated. Need for more transparent information display.

Question for game design and intent. Is this game designed to be a "Dark Soul" style game were even on Veteran the maps are designed to kill you in random ways so that you have to die repeatedly to learn all the "gacha" moments? Only 6 maps in and the number of resets to situation that appear to be designed for "If you know its coming its trivial but its put here to kill you hahaha." Not complaining if it is but want to know so I don't get frustrated with the idea that the maps are poorly designed in my mi...

Finished Demo, curious about long term mechanics

First, will I be able to play from my demo save(s) after buying the full game? The engine seems to be pretty laggy on my machine, so it'd be nice to not have to repeat the first four maps. Second, how does promotion work? I can see from other discussions that it exists, but I can also see that some characters have skills that they learn all the way at level thirty. What happens with those skills? Are they missed or delayed? Is there a level reset, or is it an FE4-style system where characters can promote ...

Fixes

Fixed issue where Laetitia's free recruitment of Diego was below the paid recruitment conversation in the trigger order until you denied the paid recruitment beforehand.
Fixed issue where some items that were affected by Turn Count (such as the Blitz Badge) would cause a crash when looked at outside of battle (at Base Camp)
Fixed issue where some cliffs in chapters 9 and 18 weren't traversable by Climber units.
Fixed issue where Dark Axe was unable to make follow-ups at melee range.

Improvements

Edited some weapon ranks on promotion to be standardized across the board. Mostly affects early-game units.
Lowered Cleo and Millenia's initial support requirement (from 2 to 1) to remove the need for the Chapter 9-1 paralogue.
