Right now, starting around level 8 it feels like I'm hitting a bit of a wall because more often than not I have to go up against Desert Tyrants and other high armor targets with low pen ballistic pistols. At first it's a challenge but becomes frustrating when an otherwise good run dies on floor 10 when you usually get some decent weapons because you had to blow all your healing/food earlier.
