Idk what is supposed to happen but nothing does on any of the players.

The description says: "Beat the game without equipping any weapon or gadget other than Stick, Gun or Rock." The description for this achievement is a little confusing. Am I allowed to pick up another weapon for recycling as long as I don't use it, or am I not allowed to pick up another weapon at all? I am confused because when I pick up a weapon, it automatically equips to my quick slots....
