It's like the game doesn't want to be played

I like the idea of dur in games, however thisone brings it to cancer levels. Go in a fight or two > go back repair > 1 more fight around the corner > go back repair again. Items degrade way too quick imo, to the point where the game gets rather annoying.

Im quite new with the game, but I have questions and suggestions - I recruited a grandmaster axefighter dwarh. Skill 50. I equipped her with 2 axes. He is _NOT_ using any Axe Fighting abilities. None of them. Why is this? The companion AI is braindead or it is not coded in yet? I haven't tried any casters, but I can imagine that they have the same problem. - The companions won't follow you to other levels +-Z many times. Sometime they do.
