as soon as the files are loaded, and the title screen starts to appear, the game crashes. no error message, no error code, just closes itself completely without warning. ive tried tweaking the settings in the settings application. ive tried opening from local files. ive tried deleting it and doing a fresh install. im not seeing any help on any fixes in these discussions. can someone help?? im on windows 11. im pretty sympathetic for the Owl's plight and i feel like there should be some alternative ending like drinking the poisoned water or killing one of the other people in the household or even somehow lifting the curse without having to murder the Owl. i just feel like some of the dialog in the game + the song the Owl sings kind of allude to diffrent paths...

I finished the game, so I uninstalled it. When it finished uninstalling soft creepy music started to play and bird sounds started to add in as it got really loud and everything. Even when I closed all my windows it was still progressively getting louder and louder, and then it stopped leaving me with a heart attack. Just me?...

I have already got past Day 20. Whatever I do, I get stuck in the loop. Is there a way to kill the Owl when we arrive the house? Edit: I figured it out. I hid the second knife to umbrella box.
