I really wanted to like this, but I can't say that I do. For the positives, the visuals are absolutely stunning! They knocked it out of the ballpark in that regard. I like Tchaikovsky but the music doesn't have enough variety to be enjoyable, its a short section of music repeated for half an hour.

I can't call myself much of a poet, so I won't heavily comment on it. But the poetry isn't good enough to justify playing the game. This is what could've been a fine short film, but instead they layered a mundane, cumbersome veneer of gameplay on top.

To progress and unpause the dialogue you must move towards and collect shining flowers, but since the players' moving speed is so agonisingly slow, it takes around 30 seconds to reach a flower— its a simple goal made needlessly dissatisfying! They're always so close, yet just out of reach.

The constant shifting narrators is a novel idea, and certainly very unique. But it doesn't work out to be relaxing in the sense that the game presented itself to be at the beginning. The change in narration is one of the elements that makes the game stand out, but I think the game would've been far better without it.

The game lets you write a sentence to name your bouquet of flowers/the sad remaining stump of a tree. You can write whatever you want so I wrote "poopoo". That was a nice reward for getting through the game.
Unfortunately I must say that I appreciated the lovely store page preview images more than the full game.
