I've played the avernum remakes and loved them all, is this game similar to them? would I enjoy it if I enjoyed them.

Turn-based gameplay is such a drag, very rarely does it work. Total war makes the exception but only because it has real time battles. Why do so many games who have absolutely amazing concepts have to be ruined by stupid and archaic turn-based gameplay? What a shame....

Within a couple minutes of loading a game, a second cursor appears in game and it makes it difficult to left-click anything precisely. Has anyone else had this issue?

I can't find any way to eat food or consume potions without putting them in quick slots. I've just finished 2012 Avernum and all consumables in that had a "use item" button (which you could accidentally click, but whatever, beggars can't be choosers I guess). Can't find the same here and googling turned up nothing. Did he downgrade UX so that you have to put a piece of bread into a quickslot to be able to use it?...

Hi, I just bought this on GoG. Is there a way to get the game to render at native resolution in a window? So it can be scaled using lossless scaling? I'm not sure what algorithm the dev used for scaling, but it looks like bilinear? If you set the game to run at a window and use 'larger area' for scaling, it looks like native, but it's the same window size when the desktop is set to 1440p and 1080p. I'm not sure how the dev has implemented the scaling, it's not clear from the in game options. Thanks....
