I don't recommend this game to people like myself who have no appetite for QANON... which, in 2026, I think is probably most people. The depiction of NPR is extremely eye-rolling. Perhaps in a few years the game may be enjoyed without emotion. The store lists the game as being satirical, but it didn't come across that way for me. It certainly wasn't uproarious, and there were only a couple of things that felt like clear jokes.

Politics aside, the gameplay is okay. I did find most of the clues had a logical solution, with the exception of a couple, where the year was clear, but I'm not sure how anyone was supposed to surmise the month. The story is mostly paraphrasing things that actually happened, and thusly isn't very interesting, other than the way events are connected to each other. In fact, I found that I could find the solution to quite a few photos by simply Googling the date of the real-life event they were based on. Unfortunately, the story is the only reward - it didn't feel as though I was investigating something as much as simply someone else investigation in chronological order. Still, if being an assistant to a conspiracy theory podcast producer is your thing, than this is probably for you... although it is short (but it does list it's running time on the site).
