I passed the tutorial and I on the first mission: one thing I noticed is that in the menù there is not an option to save the game. Also checking the key bindings I see there are no quicksave or quickload keys. You mean you are supposed to finish all the missions without saving? Even if you want people not to save-scum this choice would seriously limit the lenght and complexity of a level: you cannot propose a long heist mission and expect people to finish it without committing an accidental mistake....

After turning off the generator on beta branch, lamps turn off visually, but not programmatically i guess, so nothing really changes for player. Like you still can steal tape this way, but what's the point? I know it's been asked a hundred times. I get it, I understand the point of not having it. But can we still have a toggle/option for it? So that all the hardcore gamers can play without it, but the others can still enjoy the game. I can only play sometimes so it gets incredibly frustrating having to repeat the same mission over and over.
