I'm a huge original Pharaoh game fan.
I did not expect something this bad out of this rework. I don't know what creators were thinking, well, looking at todays games, they did their best job which is very bad for me.
1. Main menu - looks ok, but animations are so long that first thing i checked was if there is option to disable it completely, or increase the speed. Luckily there is a mod that increase the speed. If creators did not notice this as a problem then they are just not skilled enough to make games or they did not test it at all. Imagine trying to test this and wasting 2 minutes on menu animations to enter single mission. I know they probably had dev builds but whatever.
2. Graphics - some elements looks ok, for example temples, but other elements looks completely terrible, making it like combination of 2 graphic styles in one game. Flood also looks bad. Very bad job here. It is visible on the screens and videos, so there is no need to elaborate more on this topic.
3. UI/UX - some elements are just ok, but others are much worse than in an original game. For example storage window is much worse than in original game. In original version it was already bad experience, but I feel like it is now even worse than in original. That is just one example but there is so many mistakes that I do not gonna list them all. Just do not buy this bad game.
4. Gameplay - I was stuck in second mission because of a bug. I restarted the mission twice, and after that was able to finish it correctly. I don't know all changes that were made to the gameplay, but it feels not like the original game. There is change with how workers are managed in original game and this option you can change in setting window, which is one of the very few things that are ok.

I bought this game for like $1 and I feel like I wasted money on it. This remake is that bad. Original game is still better than this parody.

Poorly written game, crashes too often, ends up hoarding huge chunks of ram for no reason. I can play one or two missions before I have to force close the game and restart it. Nothing about this game should stress an i9 with 32gb of ram and a 4080.
