While basic, I did like the premise of this game + the fact that it isn’t a cheap jumpscare fest (it tries to be something more) and that the atmosphere before the first chase scene is pretty decent.
But those are the only positives I can find.

First of all, 90% of this game is : going to the same few places again and again doing often the same things over and over, sometimes wandering around to find something to interact with by simply pressing E (some objectives aren’t made clear) and occasionally cleaning some black goo or finding dead birds.
And sadly, none of this is stressful or scary because not only does the game reveal the monster way too early but the way it’s done is so ridiculous that it kills anykind of tension the game was trying to build. Actually, every “scare” in this game is painfully silly.
(Also, because the game is very predictable in terms of its scripted events, you can easily tell when you’re gonna be in danger or not)

And the second half is even worse because the game tries to expand his “story” and it’s an incoherent dreadful mess. And coupled with the awful gameplay (running around, pressing E and waiting for something unscary to happen), the game becomes particularly painful to experience.

The game builds up slowly and the scare factor focuses on oppressive atmosphere rather than on chase sequences or jumpscares, which is fine unless you're going for more than one playthrough. It was ok but the story is another one of those that devolves into eldritch horror, and that's just not really my cup of tea. Get it if you're one of those people that enjoy boring or "artsy" horror movies.
