single player runescape

Great game, can be a little grindy in some aspects. With it being single player and no trading I feel like they should adjust some of the drops, and buff exp rates just a tad.

A game heavily inspired by Old School Runescape, but with less content and more jank.

This is an indie dev, so you need to be a bit accepting of that going in. Movement is click to move, and at times the path finding can be absolutely terrible. Minimap clicking it near impossible if you want to arrive where you clicked, and sometimes you'll run into a minor, but annoying bug. For example, using a horse to fast travel from North Haywind to Thornhill will result in you being dismounted halfway through 100% of the time, or another example is that crossbows cannot use archery skills (why not?).

Otherwise I enjoy the game. It is grindy, but that is part of the fun I think, and combat is receptive and decently engaging. A mix of OSRS and World of Warcraft.

The world is pretty and the main story is slightly confusing, but if you accept that you're just a wizard's thrall, it makes sense.
