Hey Gas Jockeys!

A little while back, we dropped a devlog called "What if everything were different?" and asked you to share your thoughts with us. The replies that did come in have been genuinely valuable, and we've read every single one. So, before anything else: thank you to everyone who took the time.[/p]

Even from a smaller batch of feedback, a clear signal came through. The hunger to build a station from the ground up keeps coming up, and so does the call for more freedom and deeper customization.

We also see those of you who chose to keep your ideas to yourselves. No worries — we've got designers on the team working hard on their telepathic skills, so we'll do our best to satisfy you too. 😉

Honestly, we'd love to hear from more of you. Your feedback isn't just shaping what comes next for Gas Station Simulator — it's going to influence every project that leaves our studio from here on out. The goal is simple: build games that bring you as much joy and good times as we get from making them. Hopefully, we can keep this flow going together for a long, long time.

SteamId, Achievments and broken content?

Hi there, is there any fix that actually works to get achievments working? Much like others even starting a new game doesn't create an AchievementProfile with your SteamId but rather just a 0. Was there an update and its broken for other reasons or should there still be a file created with your SteamId? I can accept some of the other stuff like your employees being too inadept to clean cars, but those broken achievments really suck. Especially since they used to work. Are there other workarounds for this...

Greetings Gasjockeys! 🫡

We were going to write a proper devlog this week. Then someone was grabbing screenshots for something else and stopped on those:

None of these are bugs. Nothing's broken. They're just those frames the game hands you sometimes. We stared at them for a while and couldn't agree on what any of them were about.

So, caption them. Pick one, pick all three, whatever moves you. Drop your captions (or better the pictures) on Discord (#caption-this). Next Friday we'll pick a winner, who gets:

A Steam key for a friend (because you already own the game, you beautiful person)
Their caption printed and taped to the studio coffee machine
Bragging rights of questionable value.

Keep it clean-ish. Short is better than long. No AI captions: we can tell.

Control issues

I keep having problems with the fuel stopping before I want it to and with the checkout mini game. At the checkout, the item often flies off the belt or scanner when I try to pick it up or while I'm moving it to the scanner or into the basket. It will also sometimes do a crazy-high bounce when it goes in the basket, but oddly this doesn't usually result in it leaving the basket. I think some of this is skill, as it was much worse when I first started playing, but I feel like I'm not getting enough feedba...

Airport Contraband ad?

Within the last couple days whenever I launch the game, there's an ad for Airport Contraband that pops up and I have to hit Back to get to the main menu. Any way to remove this, or at least dev assurance that it's a limited time thing that will be removed?...

Lockpick Bug ??

I've played this several times no real issues. but now when Trying to pick car locks it shows success and at the same time in red with a picture of a lock on the left side of the box and the whole box covering the green word success Can't be opened. Any help would be appreciated....

It's a decent game, but I don't think you are really missing much. This is my first simulator-type game that could have been cut down to 8 actual hours of core gameplay, and I started to lose interest after the Car Washing simulator part of the game around 7 out of my nearly 11 hours in... The unlocking of more employees was the most frustruating part. Can't really recommend it, because while its "fun" its not really something you should buy unless you REALLY like simulator games
