For some reason I can never keep my guard posts in leather! I can have over 200 hides and over 100 salt but only a handful of leather which quickly gets used up. In my current game I have 5 tanneries (4 full of workers) but I'm still struggling with supply so my security is low. I have 5 guard posts which constantly fluctuate between low and medium. Is there something I'm doing wrong?...

I have 11 hours on this game and still can't expand past 1100 people. I noticed also my ox transports don't create oxes from cattle. I also don't understand what causes workshops and market stalls to build.

As above. What I'm asking specifically is, can you get it to choose a new thing automatically, so I'm not always having to go and click a new thing, and then inevitably wasting potential research time because I didn't notice it finished?

The map choice is really great but the small size is too small for making a big city and the medium one is too big, I use the half part. The perfect one will be somewhere between.
