Is there a benefit to adding points to a skill you've already maxed out? I have a character with 2 points in Vicious Strikes who also has +3 from items. Does this give me like 50% chance of bleed on every attack?

...any joy; is there a way of cancelling an action during battle? I tried to get that starting party mage to cast a skeleton to help with an unexpected room of mirelings...except she can't get into the room, nor cast it anywhere since she ''can't see target location'', yet I can't progress at all until she has finished. Wtaf? Is that right? Do I have to ctrl-alt-del out and start the mine/Barb HQ over from my last save?...

I love their games and all, but it's getting to the point where it's too small for me to see properly, so I can't play that well :-(

I support the Brokk clan and decided to show mercy to the Borgen. I also made of wiping out the Gannels because they were jerks. In the ending the Brokk clan brings things back to prosperity, but the Borgen rebel again after a few years. That annoyed me a bit. Does anyone know what happens in the ending if you support the Brokk but tell your general to slaughter the Borgen instead? Or what about the other two endings where you support the Borgen and choose to spare/slaughter the Brokk instead?...

So in the UI tooltip, it says attacks cost 2AP... but I can't help but notice that no matter how many AP I have, attacking any enemy reduces it to zero. So... is this just an error in the tooltip, or am I missing something? Wasn't a big deal early on, but now that I'm moving out more, fights are getting tougher, so if I'm failing to understand something simple about the combat mechanics... it'd probably be a good idea to remedy sooner rather than later....
