The issue is that concerning a "Failed to initialize the engine" error dialog box is a Window 11-related problem caused by a bad recent Microsoft Update. Just downloaded the demo but it doesnt launch, says failed to initialize the engine, any ideas?

I run the game, after video it jumps to Select Profile screen, i can press arrow up key, it highlights New Profile$$ row, accept button appears but it does nothing. I can only press ESC key, it goes into menu (there is only arrow up key working, down not) but when i choose PLAY it jumps back to Select Profile screen but it same as before, im stucked here cant do anything....

i noted it was on sale today, so i looked at the reviews, and even recent reviews are serious problems that were posted years ago. So i'm taking it off my wishlist, but I am wondering if this is all the Robot Entertainment games (i.e.: the 4 OMD games), or just OMD1? Thanks!...
