I hate the grim reaper!

if i hadn't used save state, i probably wouldn't have been able to finish it for the rest of my life. even with save state, it was very difficult. especially the last and penultimate boss was very hard. but the boss variety and the room designs for the time period were quite solid. although the secondary weapons feel useless, i accept it as a good base since it's the first game. i can't wait to move on to the second game....

What is wrong with the sound all of a sudden? Havn´t played for quite a while and now after several updates (I assume?), the sound quality is absolutely broken. The music as well as the soundeffects are more like a scratching noise as if coming from an broken loudspeaker or an ancient grammophone! Is there a fix to this a patch or something else? It's kinda weird that Dracula gets a free checkpoint whereas for death you have to make it through the medusa room, only to encounter a fight that partially relies on random probability since you don't know where the scythes are going to go. Dracula is totally predictable since all you have to do is wait until he opens his coat, jump and swing. Then the second phase lets you stun him with holy water and all but instakill him.
