I'm thinking that you can make this item(Vortex Orb) have special synergies with modded items! Here are some listed below:
Burning Bush(Revelations):Spews flame in a rotating cross pattern
Broken Oar(Revelations):Random-directional splashes of tears
Bee Skin(Fiend Folio):Not only have a bee-like appearance,but shoots 3 blood shots instead of 4 in a rotating triangular pattern like a Beeter,but will also shoot a friendly stinger at a nearby enemy before disappearing,similar to a Zingling!
Bertran(Modded Character by DeadInfinity & melon goodposter):When using the Vortex Orb as Bertran,it will use a friendly Mr.Mine to imitate Bertran's spin attack!
