Hello you, who read this :)

I opened this thread so people can tell me what they think of the iPhone, if they have suggestions and else, if they like the conversations or not and want more. Let me know :D
Especially :

- If you'd like that I remove the Google Maps and the Camera Icons.
- If you'd want more conversations :D
- If you'd want more battery life in general
- If you'd want a shorter time to open WhatsApp
- If you'd want to be allowed to look a bit "more" around you without closing WhatsApp
- If the probability of getting a message is too high/low

Or any other things :D.
Sadly it's not possible to make conversations with "More" than 3 messages, that would have been insanely hard to code, I had to put 3 for all conversations (and it allows for MORE conversations :D).
The max conversations I can put in the addon is 36 btw. Anything over would go over the maximal texture size for L4D2.

would it be possible to open whatsapp by looking down? my guess would be no, but i think that would be better. this is a very nice mod and as you said the first of it's kind.

also you are saying here that you have limited space for whatsapp conversations, but would it be possible to do the samething here as you did for the wallpapers? to make it possible for otheres to 'simply' add new ones in a different pack? that would also be insanely awesome.

@jackik1410 : I'm not sure this is possible but I could try. The problem is that it's a bit more difficult to read IIRC if you look down. I'm not sure also that I can do it without it also being activated when you look up.

For the new WhatsApp conversations, it's "technically" possible to release packs that contains conversations but there's a limitation :
Either you must also include wallpapers in your pack OR you must have a wallpaper pack installed for the other conversations to work. You also need to change specific variables. In other words, it's a bit difficult to make and I guess I will be the only one to potentially do some.
Right now though, I'll fill the base mod until there's no more room ^^

can you exclude wallpapers from the RNG? if so you could create an "empty" wallpaper pack.

also i really like to think theoretical, so don't think i really 'need' these features.

@jackik1410 : I don't get what you mean by "empty".
If you put only ONE Wallpaper, it will "RNG one" and therefore, not RNG. And the base mod contains only one wallpaper, so I don't really get what you mean by "emptry" wallpaper pack.

can you tell the RNGodess to simply ignore all wallpapers that are named "ignore me pls RNG"? that way you could include a wallpaper without any troubles with it. well but even if (i guess you could) i'm not sure wether that would work or you would actually need a "working" wallpaper for it to be able to read the conversations.

@jackik1410 : You cannot like add multiple wallpapers and release packs to just "include" new wallpapers. The phone can work without one (but there's one included in the base mod) but will display a missing texture instead.
So as of now, it's not possible to get 2 mods to "combine" the wallpapers. Doing so would require me to duplicate the screen of the iPhone itself and set parameters for RNG in a very complicated way. No matter what, it's too complicated, especially for people that would do addons and are not me :)
Regarding the conversations, sure I'll add more when I have time. Keep the addon active and check for updates ;)

ah okay, thought about that and just thought it was like that. so what happens if i were to subscribe to multiple packs then? does it just 'pick' or load the latest?

You'd have to be a modder to combine everything in one. It's not THAT hard though ^^

It's a lovely mod, and personally I've used it since I first saw it in the workshop, but I find it very frustrating when I'm trying to check my messages and it either wont open or it'll close instantly after opening despite me not moving at all.
