Could Add a prison room. And in the flood part expand the rooms, like make more. You could make it farther out and like have it so the base was kinda like a oni base and then make like a area where it connects to a forerunner underground place like the light bridge in halo 1. That massive room. Just some ideas

Hello there again!

If you're at all interested in hearing some ideas/suggestions then read on, this isn't a message making requests or demands. I'm simply someone who loves Halo and RP and this map has definitely caught my attention! Its great so far, and I hope to see more progress!
AND PLEASE understand, I don't want any criticism in here to come off as rude/offensive!

To start off my list of ideas, for RP purposes will there be a brig/detention center? Something where the MP's could throw the rule breakers and minges.

Next would be the big room (storage bay?) on the way to the ODST bunks/pod bay, I have made a makeshift combat sim room. So maybe actually adding a sim room for CQB type simulations? This would include walls and cover. (If you're interested I could share screencaps of my makeshift sim)

A maintenance bay - Think to yourself for a moment, being able to turn off lights in certain parts of he ship, fixing generators ect adds to the RP experience. Specially for light RP events when there isn't a whole lot of people on you could do small stuff like this.

Having access to close the bays on the sides (falcon bays) and the rear of the ship, being able to button up the ship in times of attack ect. Just something else for the extra RP experience.


Mess hall - Now this one I've seen get skipped over time to time or some people don't find them neccesary. Once again as someone who enjoys RP something like a mess hall is nice to have, I mean just imagine - After a long patrol mission or whatever, you find yourself with your platoon grabbing your meal with all the other platoons eating around you. (sounds a bit silly I know) One of the few places I would think of having a mess hall would be the room at the very top of the stairs, maybe adding a kitchen up there and leave the rest for the tables?

Adding some background - Adding some moutaints in the background could be a nice touch. Seeing the maps boundries is a little meh to me but I'm sure that ones a tough thing to deal with to make it look like the edge of the map is dropping off into nothingness. Maybe simulate desert stretching out for miles?

An armory - You know a place where you can get your weapons/ammunition handed out, the cool room with the gun cases and racks and the little window where it all gets handed through. Would be cool to have one of these as well.

Lastly, obstacle course - Most servers have a obstacle/training course they use to "train" the newbies to the server. Its kind of like an initiation in a sense!

I have pretty much listed and described everything I could think of in the moment, these are all just things that in my opinion enhance the RP atmosphere. Hopefully something in here has sparked your interest and maybe get implemented? Anyways feel free to contact me, add me ect. I am around quite often and will be for a while.

Here are the ideas ? Well first sorry about my english... This map is really cool but currently it's a beautiful day on this desert, then what about create the same map but with the ship crash the city on fire and with a bigger part of flood ? for Exemple the ship is down cut into 2 part the front and the back half of the door are broken but may work some building are a bit destroy or destroy etc... it's just an ideas do what you want with it. Nice map btw.

@YellEyes That could be a cool idea, that would have to be a seperate map entirely I would imagine, kind of like the Pillar of Autumn from Halo 1.
When you brought up "a beautiful day on this desert" I'm assuming you want a sort of sandstorm going on? Which something like that would be laggy due to the sheer number of particles created by the sandstorm, it'd definitely be a very cool effect on the map, but for an RP server that could potentially have around 75 players it would be extremely lag inducing.
On a side not I did play on a Halo RP server that had a gentle snowfall going on, which was minimal on the particles, it doesn't have to be a sandstorm per say - but a gentle gust of sand in the area, though not sure I've seen that in Gmod so who knows if its possible.
I digress, this would just be finishing touches - the icing on the cake, there is more that would be put far in front of it I would imagine myself and once again I will offer my help in anyway @[VSG]xXMegaRexiforXx

you could add WAC Halo vehicles or from some other vehicle base to the ship, or to somewhere else.
