Scenarios for this map ?
This map is such a great map, I played the beta map for XFiRE's, [SP/CO-06] DRUG WAR STORY EP1 for a few weeks before it was re-released, that's found here: http://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=869298595

It would be awesome with an insurgency style (dynamic) scenario like DaKrong/Vietnam for the Unsung mod, except no dependencies, here's a link to what I'm referring to. http://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=747266434

An Escape scenario would be an awesome scenario too, like the movie Rescue Dawn (2006)

I don't really have the abilities but I'm trying to make one: there seem to be many issues between UNSUNG faction recognition and ALiVE, though the map has been indexed OK. My favorite mission so far is

@Beaver Unsung factions are not grouped using vanilla Arma config groups, so ALiVE will not recognize the faction names by default. Can you try this compatibility mod (why is it not on Steam???) and see if it helps? https://forums.bistudio.com/forums/topic/198097-the-unsung-vietnam-war-and-alive-compatability-mod/

Thanks Heroes, you're a gent. Actually, I'm chuffed that you've seen this as I've noticed how kind, patient and useful you've been with other ALiVE amateurs like me. As a matter of fact, I've been using an unpacked version of your excellent Inshallah Insurgency as a tutorial to model mine. I've already been using the info in the link you point out (as well as the author's 1968 pbo's - not sure about where those go, but placed 'em in the x/alive/addons folder and can spawn in units from them); I've also added the requisite init into the ALiVE Required module. So far I've got civs working, but no luck with Vietnamese animals, a group that exists in the config viewer (I wanted pigs and chickens in villlages). Spyder's CTP works on churches, but I'm still tweaking that. Due to all the water in this map and encouraged by bludclot's hint that "water is the only highway here" I wanted to use Spyder Addons Ambiance to manage the very fetching sampans available in Unsung. I've seen that this isn't supported in https://github.com/ALiVEOS/ALiVE.OS/issues/5 but nevertheless I have got it to spawn in sampans, having got the right classes out of config, it's just they spawn in on dry land as well. Enemy inside works, and the VC sappers I use are deadly. So far I figure I can cover some of the river but far from all. It's going to take me a while!

Hey Beaver thanks for the kind words! You sound like more of a risk-taker than I tend to be (because I'm a wuss!) so I'm excited to see what you can come up with! I wish I could be helpful with advanced usage for Spyder's mod, but I've never messed around with changing the animal types or the CTP sound file or any of that. I know when he first made the mod, the idea was for it to be flexible, to allow mission makers to take his tools and cater them however they'd see fit. I just never bothered to try editing anything beyond the defaults but it would be neat if you can figure it out and getting everything working the way you'd like. Just be sure to send me your mission when you're done! That will spare me from having to me make my own! :)

Bushman thank you for that news, welcome indeed - currently I use A3Laucher to keep it uptodate but here would definitely be easier.

I might be making one sometime soon. I have been making lots of WW2 scenarios and am now changing to working on Vietnam ones. Most of my scenarios are just for me and my friends but if people are interested I can start making them public.
