Suggestions
Put suggestions here. I'll see if they are feasible and or possible :)
StopBreakingTheWorkshop turret addon
Would it be easy enough to extend the script to use more than 2 rotors for elevation? I want to mount reloadable rocket launchers on two advanced rotors, and then have gatling mounted on a rotor in the front(all of this on the azimuth rotor. Currently it doesn't work unless I remove one of the rotors, and it seems to only like using two rotors when the rotors are facing opposite directions. Additionall, if it isn't a lot of trouble, could you make it control multiple turrets from one cockpit? As I understood the writeup, you can't have multiple turrets to multiple cockpits, but can you have one cockpit to many turrets?

That would be difficult, but I'll see if I can.

The code already allows for controlling of multiple turrets from one cockpit.
Is this Vanilla or requires some mod?

Vanilla in-game program :)
Whiplash great work with this script. I just have a question, don't know if it's a bug or not. I can't put the timer triggering it self on a dedicated sever. It works fine in single player but I've tried all setup permutations on the timer and nothing. The programming block says it's working, the little bar keep rolling but the rotors wont move. So my question is, could this be a limitation on server side, blocking the use of timers by the admin or am I doing something wrong?

Is the control seat u are using attached to a station?

Yes, the cockpit is right behind the rotors, in the same grid. I use exactly the same setup in the DS as in the single player.

Ok, try this: Put your control seat ontop of a rotor and see if it works :)

Nop... no dice :-(
I just rebuild the entire setup from scratch, put the cockpit on top of a rotor in the same grid as the azimuth and nothing. Im going to try now to build a new setup separated from the main base grid, i'll let you know.
So, I'm using a small ship grid anchored into the ground. My cockpit is on the main body where as the rotors are used to fired a modded weapon. Not sure if it matters, but they are advanced rotors. I'm incapable of moving the turret, however.

Good news, the new grid, separated from the main base works great. Probably was some kind of conflict between other flight seats, don't know, but it's working now. Thanks for the support Whip, and great script :-D

I think that is yet another bug with Keen's implementation of the player inputs :(

Stations don't seem to return any inputs if you are not the host of the game. Kinda odd how it works for the host though...

Try and attach your remote/cockpit to your station via a rotor. For whatever reason, the game cant read your inputs if the seat is on attached to a station grid.
