It might also be that you're using a wrong radio? I'm not actually sure bout this one as I've never gotten this problem. Try grabbing a Radio operator made by the Unsung crew for any of the US Forces or other NATO Units and using the radio they got or build something around that uniform.

Unlikely considering I do it myself, unless you're doing stuff with adding ♥♥♥♥ through the Menu while using the Radio Etc. Try perhaps not using MCC At all? Or simply adding a SOG Radio Operator to test how the radio works without any mission extra stuff.
