Bushes are too concealing for AI units.
Arma used to add extra power for units, able to see thru corners or trees. Here, on the contrary, bushes (like wx_tallgrass01_02_slopelandcontact.p3d) disable any Ai perception, even in sparse field. Is it possible to modify some LOD or remove a lot of these curtains?

if you're using eden enhanced you can edit units and change their "spotting distance" and "spotting time" among other things like weapon accuracy.

if you're frustrated with aircraft not seeing people moving thru the canopy then turn spotting distance to 100 and spotting time to 75 or 100.

although it doesnt let them see thru invisible walls it does let them spot enemies easier when they cross through a "window" in the invisible walls that block vision.

if you dont have eden enhanced theres equivalent commands you can put in init lines. you can find these on the wiki or somewhere.

Tkx. I don't need Eden enhanced and I don't have any problem with the setSkill command. But this is not the solution. Aiming distance is something, LOD of objects another one. I spoke about bushes because you can stay "stand up"at 5 meters from an enemy, you can fire around, without any reaction unless AI get prone. Ai can't see you thru some bushes. Simple as that.
Tkx Eggbeast for your answer. It's just something to take into account prior to fail writing an heavy scenario.

i had no idea. is this on the older maps like SEA or on the new ones using APEX foliage like da krong and doung?

It takes 3 minutes to verify that. Here is a little video, easy to reproduce, vanilla 1.80 + Unsung Echo. Sorry, I didn't take time to choose your units, just vanilla's first picked one. As you can see Da Krong crashed at once (not intended) then I chose Doung Island.
Have good time in festivities. Happy new year and plenty of success for 2018. Unsung is amazing,btw. Just need to cope with engine's limitations...
