this is just nitpicky stuff, the model is great already:
-the texture could use a bit more grime or look a bit more rugged to fit with HL2's style
-there should be small hairs on the body and some large ones near the end of the tail

I don't want to put the little hairs on it because it does not make any sense to me.

these tentacles are rigged and they are meant to be animated in a loop.

There is defintitely lots of improvements to be done. Like CamBen said, the texture needs quite a bit of work to fit in with the HL2 models. As for the actual model itself, I'd reccomend making the nubs on the head look a bit less like gumdrops, and more like bulbous blisters of some sort. Also, not sure if they're there but just hard to see, but some wings would be nice under the shell.

The model isn't perfect, but it's not half-bad either.

Dont forget the leg webbings though. Those make it look awsome in that artwork.

I can see this model having a bit more gunk and grime on it to fit with the HL2 universe, and since it lives in cave systems it's supposed to be dirty as ♥♥♥♥. Also it would be nice if the growths actually looked like true growths and not gumdrops on its head. Also leg webbing, leg webbing is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome. Other than that this model is great, can't wait to see it down the road.
