@Dude ride I have set up a true dedicated server with 1GB/s throughput this is a dedi box in a data centre you can all join using
46.4.87.232:2312
the server is located in Germany and as it stands it has no ping limit on it, so all are welcome. The other way to find it is by using the filter in the server browser on the internet tab and just use EGTID.com as the filter you can also go to the website www.egtid.com and or join us in teamspeak 3 using ts.egtid.com should you have any issues or just want to chat and join in.


UPDATE:

The server restarts every 3 hours this is due trying to keep the lag down, this is in line with the Dev of the Liberation game mode. We run this server and our others as a windows service so you wont get a warning that the server is restarting but if the server drops it will be back up within a few mins and the mission is saved to the same spot once you finish the beatch landing.

If you join this server it takes a while to load in to the mission, but it will load in, it can take up to five minutes if the server has been up and running for a while. After speaking with one of the mission authors I will be looking into a way to fix it, if that is possible as it seems to be mission / mod related (IFA3_lite) seems to be the one I’m looking at, as I’ve seen a similar issue mentioned on its discussions page.

Can you guys PLEASE make it so Vanilla and german gear and weapon assets arent equippable in the virtual arsenal? It breaks authenticity when you have people running around as vanilla soldiers or germans while fighting with 1944 US troops. Also if you could make it so you can only join the server with the selected mods to stop using other assets and cheats like the mod that allows you to access virtual arsenal everywhere. Thanks.

if you can find all the class names for all the WW2 weapons for:-

IFA3_AIO_LITE ,
WW2_units_mas,
Faces of war,
LEN - Weapons pack for IFA3 LITE

Then i would gladly write a script to make it more authentic and make it WWII weapons and equipment only.

There are two servers with this currently enabled so you can only equip certain things, might be worth getting in touch with the people who host the server

Drop me a server name if i join it i can see the script and add it to mine as i too wanted this, but i run my own comapany so i dont get time to go hunting through a thousands threads looking for the one thing needed. The thing that makes this game great is the modding but it is also the one thing that makes finding information a night mare. So far i think i have a list for IFA3_AIO_LITE but not the others i mentioned.

Did you update the Arsenal? There's loads of stuff that doesn't show up in there anymore.

Yes I’ve made it IFA3_AIO_LITE US weapons only, if you can think of anything that is missing let me know. I still need to make it so you can’t use saved armoury load outs from other servers though, as that will still load any saved kits including ones with new weapons. I will be updating that in the next day or two. But feel free to let me know of anything missing or that you think should be left in there. You can still use the Springfield with a scope but it has poor magnification. My next edit of it will make the Germans a bit harder to mess with as well as they are a bit too dumb as it stands in my book. :NATO: :health:

I hope to have this done tomorrow as long as i dont walk into any issues with the armoury save kit and load kit button removal you will still be able to save loadout, i think that is the easist way to make it period weapons / kit only.

Please allow the UK weapons/clothing as well because the UK and Canadians are also supposed to be part of the map - and also keep the kit loading/saving because myself and a few of my friends have our kits saved from other servers and we like to use them on yours, would be a pain to have to remake all our loadouts (we've each got about 10 different UK, US and USSR ones).

Im not to bothered about having to remake kits but i agree with enabling british and canadian uniforms

I'd also like to add to Scruffmans comment. I understand that the map is set on Omaha Beach, but the gamemode includes Canadian and British Troops and is supposed to be a recreation of D-Day as a whole, not just Omaha. I understand restricting German, Japanese, USSR, Vanilla Loadouts etc. But there are plenty of examples during and after D-Day of Joint-Operations between The Allies. Another thing I'd like to mention as well. Is ACE a possibility to be added to the server in the future?

Also, the server has been bugging out all day today, something seems to have broken it. (Being unable to capture points, being unable to complete tasks, the start-up audio repeating itself, stuff like that).
