General Failure on Startup/ Access Violations.
From what i did read so far, if you have it, unsubscribe the mod search for the mod files in the Homeworld installation and delete them, after that resubscribe the mod on the workshop.


If you have it inside the game with the mod on tell us exactly what you did, wich gamemode, builded ships, how long was the game, these kind of things so it can be better narrowed down.

I recommend 2 things for people who are having trouble.

1) Lower your Graphics settings as much as Possble. This will help to Fix some Possable Bugs, and Reduse crashing.

2) You should Probably Look up on Google how to fix a Steam Game that is having your Bug/Problem. I remember that Evil Jedi was having a really hard time Figuring out what was causing the Bugs/crashes. I think it may have been some Problem on Steams end. if that's the case. Then Some Forums/threads from steam should talk about these Bugs. And may give you the info needed to fix your issue.

I tried unsubbing, deleting the file, and resubbing and i still get general error

I keep crashing everytime I try to play the gamemode Flagship

A Possable fix If the Mod is Broken.
Some one Suggested a way to Fix Broken Mods that don't seem to work any more or don't at all from the start.

It's a shame, but I MUST reiterate, the classic version of this mod still works (albeit you probably need to use the command augment -nopbuffer to get it working). So whilst we can't experience this great mod in RM, we can atleast all enjoy it in classic.

@edwin.gibson I'm not sure what -nopbuffer does, but you use it as so:

It ONLY works for the classic versions, It does NOT work for mods created for Homeworld Remastered

I keep trying to play player vs CPU but the access violation issue happens mid game it's annoying. Can some one help?

What do I do if the mod doesn't show up in game at all after subscribing?

Uninstall and then reinstall and check your mods folder. If you are subscribed there is a icon with the text "mods" in the homeworld launcher which you can apply mods for the version you want

I get access Violation error right on startup when playing Galactic Republic. I also get access violations about 5-10 minutes in game with other factions.

Happened to me mid-game with "Construction". "Flagship" does not work at all. Only way to play clean is "Reinforcements". Good enough to enjoy though.
