Fun and quirky with lots of small issues. 3/5 stars.

As a lifelong Crash fan, I can heartily recommend Crash Bandicoot Course based on novelty alone. The visuals perfectly capture the low-polygon charm of the original trilogy, and the audio is also up to par with appropriate music and sound effects scattered throughout. I'm particularly happy to see Twinsanity get some representation!

Although this campaign doesn't have any fatal flaws, it has a plethora of small issues that bog it down. Bots struggle to pick up items, crescendo events are consistently awkward, and many crates don't work how they should. Bosses are especially rough in their design. They all tend to drag on, none of the bosses have health bars, and one of them doesn't even flash red when hurt. The final boss is too easy, but also has too much health — and making players run a deadly gauntlet to reach the end right after is a slap in the face.

Still, this gets a solid recommendation to fellow Crash fans. It's worth a run!
