What you have:
-One super mobile melee rushy BANZAIIIIII boi
-One turtley boi
-One large coke
What you don't have (yet):
-Any stealth stuff
-Non-emplacement MGs
-Man-portable GLs
-Robots
-Really low-tech human stuff

If Starship Troopers = Starcraft...
Troopers=Terrans
Bugs=Zerg
???=Protoss?

Therefore
(Assuming there isn't a set plan)
A new faction could become the high-tech space wizard bros
OR
A new faction could become a colonial group, rebelling against the military elite
OR
A new faction could become a tribal splinter of humanity, excelling in asymmetric warfare
OR
A new faction could become robo-cyborgy-skynet skrubs, essentially a different version of the first idea but with more bug-like weapons (functionally, as instead of evolutiony stuff it'd be explodery kaboomy lasery FO4 Institute synths)
