A light grey or white wouldn't be bad either.

Can the colours not be attributes that are modifiable via console? You know, like lights and things.

this is how it should've been in the first place imo :)
maybe the person isn't great with string parsing code?

Another nice idea would be to make them less transparent as well. When the sunlight is coming through them they look great, regardless of color imo. But When there is no back light they are far to brightly colored. Something along the lines of an additional modifier to choose how see-through they are, something like "co blue;T cc red;O" or "co green;N cc yellow;T", with T(ransparent), N(ormal) and O(paque). No idea how feasible that is though. Also, @ SultonMRP and @David, I totally agree. either of those 2 options would be great, just to fine tune the colors to match color schemes better.

Read the description lol. Seriously, it's right there in black and white:

colors can be defined by adding the following key value pairs to the block name:
cc <color when closed>
co <color when opened>
e.g. "Force Field Door 123 co blue cc red" is blue when open and red when closed
see screenshot for color names (I know, that "lime" doesn't quite fit the color...)

So it would be something like:

Force Field Door co cyan cc red

For the cyan color when the doors are "open" and red when they are "closed."
