Some comments I get about issues people are running into with this mod either do not offer enough context for me to help or are not issues in the first place. Please consider giving this a quick read before commenting about a bug/issue.

Please note that I'm not trying to scare you away from telling me about problems; it's just that the solution to common problems is generally very simple or not related to this mod.


The mod isn't showing up in the mod list.

Check to see if you have a "901048002" folder in "Steam/steamapps/workshop/content/322330".

Don't have it there? Do you have a "workshop-901048002" folder in "Steam/steamapps/common/Don't Starve Together/mods"?

If you don't have it in either, then you don't have the mod downloaded. Check over these things below and see if any apply to you.

Are you subscribed to the correct mod version? There is a different version of this mod for DST, DS/RoG, and SW. Make sure you are subscribed to the appropriate version.

Is your download paused? Check your download list and make sure it actually finished downloading. Steam automatically pauses all downloads if you are in a game.

I can't connect to others with this mod or others can't connect to me while I have it.

This could be caused by a mod incompatibility.

This mod changes the following files:
scripts/mixes.lua
scripts/widgets/moonstormover.lua
scripts/components/dynamicmusic.lua

If another mod requires or edits these files, it may cause an issue. Please inform me if this is ever the case.

The game crashes while using this mod.

Check to make sure you don't have another mod that is conflicting with this one. Mods that change seasons, time phases, music, or edit the files in the point above this one could all conflict with this mod since it's designed to be used with a default, vanilla world. If you're able to replicate the crash, please cause the crash and send me your client log. More details about the client log are below.


If you're reporting a crash, I will ask you to give me the last 50 lines of your "client_log.txt" file found in "Documents\Klei\DoNotStarveTogether" so consider pasting it in the comment or giving me a screenshot of the error when the game crashes. Consider using Pastebin or something to make it easier to paste. The file will tell me what is causing the crash or whether it's this mod or a different one.
